"and Jesus said, ..."these signs shall follow you...'"

Greetings Intercessory Team from Holland!

Hi again,
I'm nearing the end of this 15-day journey, with two more Revival services to go, one tonight in the south of Holland and one tomorrow night in the dry "spiritual desert" of Belgium.

Please keep up the prayers...breakthrough seems to be a theme...and although I am thrilled to see God move so powerfully everywhere I go, I am really missing my beautiful wife Sarah and being wrestled to the ground with my three little tiger-cubs Ethan, Gideon and Zoe.

Last evening I preached from the theme of the last passage of Mark's gospel; Jesus gave to you five signs which follow every believer reaching after Him in faith: (1) you shall be empowered to discern evil; (2) you shall speak with new tongues; (3) you shall be able to do spiritual warfare (and prayer is your most powerful weapon); (4) you shall cast out demons; (5) you shall heal the sick.

I had the honor of preaching in an old farmhouse in the middle-of-nowhere in the Dutch countryside last evening; but on this very spot of land there stood another building some years ago, where secretly the leader of the Dutch underground in 1944 hosted General Montgomery and the American general, and planned the liberation of Holland in Operation Market Garden. And here God was planning the new liberation of Holland in the Spirit amongst us!

I was honored to be back here, since the LORD had used me 6 years ago to break open the spiritual ground here and preach and release His Spirit for their first home-meeting; they have been gathering the hungry ever since and last night people drove for up to 2 hours from all over the country just for a fresh touch from God. Home meetings like this are like spiritual watering-holes around Europe; many churches do not allow or teach on or even understand Spiritual gifts or God's power to heal the sick, so it's almost like working in the Underground church as we see the hungry get filled and the thirsty get fresh spiritual water to sustain them on their spiritual journeys.

After the message the power of God fell and many were healed by a strong anointing which came upon them as I released each person to pray for one another...we had several instant healings and testimonies, and many lay on the floor shaking under God's Spirit.

The most amazing was a young boy of 10. He listened earnestly to the message and desperately wanted a touch from God. He joined me in the prayer ministry and many were touched through his prayers. Later he lay under the power and shook for some time as the Spirit anointed him for service. His name? JOSHUA...indeed this is the new Joshua Generation that God is raising up...

To quote again from George Fox, "the power of the LORD was over all...
Amen...-brother carl

"and Jesus said, ..."'All authority is given Me from Heaven and Earth, therefore GO...'"

Greetings Intercessory Team from England!

A brief report this Sunday evening as I have just completed ministry in the fifth of 8 services in a row; the past three have been of a healing nature in preaching the Kingdom of God and believing He will confirm His Word with signs following. I am quite tired and need to go to bed, so I will incapsulate the past ministry by saying, He fulfilled His ongoing Promise of the Spirit..."the Lord's power was present to heal..."

Just to dive back for a moment from my past report from Ulverston, on the second evening many folk came out and were greatly impacted. Many youth got really touched during the prayer time....the Spirit fell in a particular flow over a whole group, a few of who were not yet Christians...they had never been to a meeting like this one in all their life and still were open to being prayed for. One girl in particular rang her mum on the phone a bit after 11 p.m. when we finished; her mum asked, "how was it?" expecting the typical answer of her daughter attending a "religious" meeting...instead her daughter enthusiastically replied, "AWESOME!"

From the past three meetings with a theme of praying for the sick but also encouraging the Body to be raised up as strong warriors, carrying the LORD's authority and anointing to a dying world of darkness...I can only say, Awesome! In every service, I received from the Holy Spirit some very specific words of knowledge, and people came forward in every service and were healed almost instantly from their diseases. What was even better was that first I called forward an open invitation for members of the service to be prayed for, for a fresh impartation of the gifts of healing, and the anointing fell in every service and many "quaked" in God's anointing...then the team joined me in prayer and we saw the Living Jesus heal the sick.

I watched tonight after a word of knowledge came forth for a forefinger of the right hand (very specific word, eh? and very unusual...) and a young boy in a wheelchair came up who had cerebral palsy from birth; the healing anointing covered this lad and we all watched as he was able to move the crumpled-up forefinger of his right hand for the first time....he suddenly lit up with a huge smile on his face as God healed his hand! He also got out of the chair and walked several steps before resting again and we were all encouraged at seeing God touch him.

Well, keep up the great prayers as I continue throughout the week in ministry and on Thursday night fly to Holland for three more important services with hungry folk there.

Soli Deo Gloria, amen. Bro Carl...www.borntoblaze.org

"and God will turn the hearts of the Fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their Fathers..."

Greetings Intercessory Team from England!

I arrived safely at Heathrow Airport and was quickly awakened to the fact that I was no longer in Buffalo, Minnesota. On the train in-between terminals, a mobile phone went off abrubtly and this Asian Man (I couldn't tell what country he was from, but he was definitely speaking in tounges...) answered and spoke very loudly and quickly and excitedly in a foreign Asian language. I thought to myself, "Dorothy, you're not in Kansas anymore..." The truth is, there simply are no Asian people living in Buffalo, Minnesota. :}

I had a great time of fellowship with 2 evangelists, Barry Woodward and Chip K., and a prophet named Stefan in Manchester before taking a train to the wild North of England.

I'm writing this report from Rock House, the ministry base of a longtime friend, Ian Peters who pastors a Vineyard Church up here.

I am in Ulverston, England, the historical ministry base of evangelist George Fox...the first Quaker. He lived here and spent many hours preaching the gospel and healing the sick in the 1650's and 60's. It was said that the people in his meetings "quaked" at the preaching of the Word and the power of the Spirit. He even raised up 60 men to be evangelists and spread the good news around England...they were called the "Valiant 60".

I am humbled to report that at last night's "Light the Fire Again" Revival Service, the Holy Spirit came and did just what He promises...brought "times of refreshing" from the Father and many "quaked" like in the days of old. I was enabled by God to preach for an hour on the scripture from Romans 12: 1-2, and then saw the Spirit bring fresh anointings for healing the sick. Several folk got healed and a number responded to my challenge of being vessels of healing to a dying world. I gave an invitation for the stirring of the gifts of healing and faith, with the responsibility for folk to pray for 30 people who need healing in the next 60 days. A number responded and that will mean a mulitplication of healing on the streets in Ulverston between now and Christmas!

I also saw the Spirit touch deeply the youth. Many fell to the floor under the anointing and wept tears of release and experienced the Love of the Father. I encouraged some older folk to help in the praying and to see the generations unite in the purposes of God was humbling.

It was a great start to the next 5 days of continuous Revival and Teaching services. The pastor told me that for many last night, that was the first genuine touch of God in their lives for several YEARS. We are tucked away in the vast English countryside here and quite honestly, very few fresh moves of God sweep over these areas.

To quote from a phrase the Fox wrote in his journals about his meetings, "the power of the LORD was over all."

Tonight is our second meeting here and the focus is reaching unsaved youth and those on the fringes and those in need of a real touch from God. I would appreciate your prayers as I prepare for this service.

Thank you Lord for turning the hearts of the children back to the love of the Father, and confirming your Word with signs following, Amen.

Hello Dear Friend,
Greetings! Friday afternoon, 18th April, Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Arrived safely, though greeted with a sore throat in the first 20
minutes in Belfast, which today has turned into a wee Irish sniffle! But
God be praised, he gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks
might, he increases power. I will run, and not grow weary. Isa. 40.

So far, so good. Thank you for all your praying thus far.

Landing in London's Gatwick airport on Wednesday, I heard the voice of
the Lord, through a lovely English chap in the elevator. Upon hearing my
accent he warmly welcomed me. He seemed to have a liking for Americans,
instead of the disdain I receive from many others because of their
perception of Americans and our politics, etc. This man said, "Oh, yes,
we need you here. An American has a way of getting things moving; you
know, helping put in motion that which is in need of action." And that
phrase was our whole exchange on the elevator. I walked out, and the
Spirit said, "did you hear that? that is your mission for this journey."
(to quote the great Irish St. Patrick himself, "Christ...in the mouth of friend and stranger...")

I prayed and waited upon the Lord for several hours on Thursday in spite
of my sore throat, and began my ministry last night with, "Confessions
of a Viking" to a combined youth event at CFC Church in Belfast.

It went grand. I preached on the themes of healing from rejection,
identity, love from the Father, and the power of God which is available
to any who will take it. I utilized Luke 3, where before Jesus had done
any miracles, or been driven into the wilderness to be tempted by the
devil, he first was baptized, receiving His identity and acceptance from
the Father Himself, who spoke from the Heavens and basically said, "You
are My Son and I am well pleased with you" to Jesus. So on the basis of
that identity, He could face the devil, quote the living word, strike
down temptation and satanic thoughts in his mind, stand against the
flesh, and align Himself perfectly with the Spirit and the Father's will.

It is the same for us! And this rising generation needs to hear those
words of formation and words of encouragement, "You are loved by the
Father. You are accepted. You are a Son or Daughter of God with eternal
purpose! He is well-pleased with you. Now go forth and stand against the
temptations of sin around you, and stand firm in God's power to deliver
and set the captives free."

I even quoted from Wallace and Grommit, and they were all in stitches
with laughter one minute and tears the next.

Then I talked a bit about applying the disciplines of a walk of faith
through the years which lie ahead, especially as the enemy will throw
every possible distraction at them to turn from their walk with God,
because he sees their potential, and is wanting to block it. Disciplines
like prayer, daily worship, and fasting will be key in helping these
young ones to walk forward. We ended with all of them making an
agreement to pray for one un-saved person, three times per day, each day
over the next seven days!

Soon it was ministry time. I invited up a team of leaders to help me
pray for the 120 or so youth gathered. Nearly every one of them wanted
prayer and some were desperate for a touch from God. So they lined up
across the floor in rows, and I prayed to release the power of the
Spirit. I minister with a "no-touching" policy, so myself and the team
went forth into the crowd to pray over these folk, nobody touching
anybody; just the power of God doing all the touching.

Within 20 minutes or so, the Holy Spirit's presence had so filled the
room and the hungry young ones that there were approx 100 bodies all
over the floor; it was a genuine touch from God and I watched as He sent
waves of power over them. Each wave, many on the floor received more of
Him; more love, more power...quite literally.

Many wept profusely, many others began laughing in releases of joy;
others just lay and received visions from God; still others, especially
some young men, were stuck to the floor (unable to get up) and shook and
trembled (it reminded me of George Fox and the Quakers of the 1600's).

In the middle of it, I asked any who would like to receive the gift of
tongues to just raise their hand and a leader would come over and pray
over them. A whole group of hands went up, and within the next 10
minutes, many were speaking a supernatural language for the first time
in their lives. There were some present who were not saved yet; they
also received prayer and it appeared several made commitments on the
floor as they received His love and touch.

How does one write this in a report? It is almost too precious to
record...I felt so small and so humbled to be in the presence of God and
see Him confirm His word with this kind of anointing for this rising
generation.

More LORD...

Thanks for your prayers; please pray over me this weekend as I am quite
weak today physically and have about 10 hours of actual ministry to
perform in the next two days...including three different services on
Sunday in three cities. Off now to preach in a castle tonight!

Please remember to cover my good friend Greg as he travels over to join
me as my team-mate and lead worship and assist in prayer times over next week. He flies out on Sun night and arrives in Belfast on Monday.

(Note: Bette and Gene: feel free to load portions of this report onto
the website home page)

"...and they went out everywhere, the LORD working with them, and
confirming His word with signs following..." Mk. 16. "Go ye
therefore..." Mt. 28.

Blessings from,
brother carl

Thanks to you for your ongoing prayer cover. Health-wise I am back on track...fit as a fiddle today. I increased in strength each day so the Lord has been answering. Please pray for my little Zoe as she got pink-eye and needs a healing as having any sick kids can affect Sarah and also our video business. God is good!

Greg arrived safely from Minneapolis last night and is ready to go to war on the worship and prayer front! We begin a series of 6 different meetings in 5 different cities in Northern Ireland tonight. Keep up that great prayer cover as you are led by the Lord!

Thought I'd just share a few of the many testimonies that have come to me in the past 5 days. These are fresh. Very special; I almost weep when reading them as I see the Spirit doing so many powerful things and raising up the Next generation and giving them purpose and identity and power.
************************************************************************
"On Thursday I fell in the Holy Spirit's presence for the first time. I was afraid but as soon as I was being prayed for I felt a calmness and the peace of God. Saturday night I felt the same thing, only this time, it was more powerful. I felt stuck to the ground and couldn't get up. I felt the devil telling me I was worthless, and I could see this battle going on. The more I lay there I shook and trembled. I could see the enemy disappear and fade away; it was like I got an eraser and rubbed him away." --carley

"God's presence was so strong from Friday when we arrived. It rubbed off from you contagiously and really inspired me to press on and deepen my relationship with God. It's been such a weekend I've needed to build up my spiritual life, and your influence and your time you've taken has made an effect which will grow and be long-lasting fruit." --anonymous

"The Lord spoke to me on Saturday night and said, "training is over"...I had graduated and it was time for me to enter prayer as a profession. I now have a responsibility to the Kingdom of God to pray. He said my payment (for services) would be blessings and breakthroughs. I vowed to God to pray, pray, and pray some more. The War is on!" --anonymous

"This was one of the most significant weekends of my walk with God. I now feel worthy and that I can change things in Northern Ireland. On the Saturday night I had a fight with the devil and God helped me win and now I feel comfortable and confident in my faith." --anonymous
*************************************************************************
There are so many more! Perhaps if I have time I'll email a few others later in the week. I just wanted to let you know of a couple of cool supernatural occurances to confirm the teaching I was doing. In one of the sessions, on Saturday morning, I encouraged folks with the true story of the students of Cambridge University in England during the 19th century, who were so busy with studies they were convicted of neglecting their spiritual life. So they got together and created a 5-minute prayer time that is still as powerful today! It is based on the letters, "A.C.T.S." and goes like this:
"A"- Adoration. Begin prayer with adoring and worshipping your Lord. 1 Minute
"C"- Confession. Confess your sins before God, believing in fresh forgiveness. Based on I Jn. 1:9. 1 Minute
"T"- Thanksgiving. Thank the Lord for all He has done in the past 24 hours. Even the little things. 1 Minute
"S"- Supplication. Prayer for others! Intercession for those you know need ongoing prayer. 2 Minutes

5 minutes total! This became legendary around campus and quickly took on the term, "The morning watch" and students used to shout to each other across campus their war cry, "REMEMBER THE MORNING WATCH!"

So, on Saturday afternoon I prayed over the folk and sent them out to pray for the nearby town. Pastor Paul had set this ice cream shop on a particular street corner as the meeting point to rendeavous. He just randomly chose this as a meeting point and had no idea of the topography of that place. When we all arrived after 2 hours of walking the town and praying for folk, everyone suddenly got excited and started praising God. Why? The shop, just opposite the ice cream shop, in plain view, was called, "A.C.T.S." (the acronym stood for four completely different words than the morning watch but the letters were identical to what was on the teaching notes we had all just left to be there!)!

Another cool moment was when 2 of the young men were interceding for a particular church in town. They both felt from the Spirit the idea of a split; that a split had happened recently and God was wanting to heal the division there. Well, they looked up opposite the church at a clock. The Spirit said, 'notice the hands'. They were pointed to 3 and 2 (3:20pm) and suddenly one of the young men said, 'The Lord wants to confirm this prayer through Genesis 32). So they turned to Genesis 32 and it was the passage of Jacob and Esau, after having split in relationship years before, were about to come into contact again and reconcilation was on God's heart!

Finally, I leave you with a final testimony. During one of the sessions I shared how a while back I was in need of a breakthrough in renting our home that only God could bring. In prayer one day the Lord spoke to me and simply said the 2 words, "HOLD FAST". I took it immediatly to mean, "just keep hanging on...I will provide" etc. But a week later, Greg's wife Heidi said to me, "when you told me last week what God had said to you, the Lord said to me, "hold A fast" like start fasting for breakthrough! So I realized that God was speaking me to FAST for a breakthrough for renting our home. I joked with the folks that sometimes God speaks in "North American Indian" style language, like "me like you white man" etc. They all laughed and the moral of the story was that within the space of my 3-day fast our home got rented and financially we stayed afloat!

So here is an actual testimony from someone who handed me a slip of paper with the following,
(READ LIKE NATIVE INDIAN).
"GOD SHOW UP
GOD SPEAK
GOD EMPOWER
GOD BLESS ALL
GOD CONFIRM LOVE
GOD ALMIGHTY AND STRONG TO SAVE"

Blessings and peace,
brother carl

Hi again,
Just a quick note to say, thank you for your ongoing prayer cover!

Greg arrived on Monday night and Tuesday we went into battle together. He led worship at the service and I preached on the power of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. During the ministry time, I called folk up for a fresh release of that power, asking the Lord to confirm His word. Suddenly and quite unexpectedly, the power of God flashed like lightning and hit a lady to my left with such force, it literally threw her forward about 4 feet in the air and she hit the floor; she actually hit her upper arm on a sound box and it was such a show of power that it caught both Greg and I off guard! Her arm hurt for only a moment and then she groaned in the Spirit for an hour; the Lord completely filling her and many others over and over with waves of his power.

Wednesday night was our special gathering of 24/7 folk and worship folk; again, the Lord came and confirmed His word as we released His anointing over folk. A group of Methodist leaders were there who had never been prayed for in such a manner, but many seemed touched and blessed.

Thursday we spent some time in prophetic ministry over some leaders of a Presbyterian church who have a vibrant ministry and especially the youth are being raised up. We only stepped on each others' toes once and worked out our team ministry protocol together, and after that flowed amazingly well to bless and encourage. Greg had some amazing prophetic words. We also had some time in the afternoon to visit some ancient paths, places where Patrick himself prayed over the land and dwelt in times gone by. It was a beautiful day.

Friday we headed north to Coleraine and are working with Andrew Barr, who leads a team in the Healing Room ministry and also evangelistic and prophetic work. Last night Greg and I worked together to demonstrate a "Harp and Bowl" model of ministry, and together prophesied and sang over the folks gathered and encouraged them to be ready to be used mightily by God in the coming years. We went around and prayed over folk together, flowing as a strong team of two (two can put 10,000 to flight!); I anointed them with oil and Greg gave each a powerful prophetic word which spoke directly to their condition. One woman he declared, "I see you working with children as a teacher" and she suddenly had a look of shock on her face, as she IS an elementary school teacher! Amazingly accurate stuff. We went out for a pint of Guinness after and had some good craic (that's Irish for fun).

Pray some more for us as we minister again tonight and tomorrow morning here in Coleraine. Then in the afternoon the pastor tomorrow might take us over to Giant's Causeway, a unique formation of rocks unlike anything in the world.

We fly to London together Monday and then home to our lovely and incredible wives and gorgeous children on Tuesday! Please keep our wives and children covered in prayer as well. MORE LORD for Ireland...

All the best, Cheers,
Carl

Coleraine, Northern Ireland, Sunday, 11th November, 2007.

"and the Glory of the LORD will appear, and all peoples will see it together..."

This scripture has truely been the word of the LORD for our journey together (Ethan and myself) thus far. In every place we go, whether it be a coffee with one or two of the LORD's servants here, who need encouragment, or in a large meeting or church gathering, I have been humbled to see the anointing and Glory of the LORD resting upon His people.

We arrived exhausted on Thursday morning and were picked up from Gatwick and taken to a castle by Giancarlo and Catherine Elia, themselves anointed ministers and part of the team of mentors who helped train me and raise me up in ministry some 15 years ago. What a treat. We visited the castle of Anne Bolyn, second wife of King Henry the 8th (yes, a red-head of course!) who lived there. I stood with Ethan at the drawbridge going over the moat where Henry VIII had rode his horse in the 1500's to court Anne before marriage. It was cool, and Ethan rushed through all the rooms with great speed, ignoring the 16th century paintings, tapestries, fireplaces, walls and ceilings of detailed wood, etc...and ran up the stairs with great delight into....the torture chamber! Now to an 8 year old, this stuff was cool! His first trip ever to a castle, his first missions journey begins...with swords and thumb-screws in the torture chamber!!! Anyway, Giancarlo prayed for us and they sent us to Ireland in the Spirit of the LORD. Amazings, he had just returned from 8 weeks' ministry in Africa and France, and only on Thursday morning was he free, before holding a Father's Heart conference in London...praise God! It had been 5 years since we had last seen each other, and before that, on Ethan's real first missions trip to London some 7 years ago at the age of 1, Giancarlo had laid hands on Ethan and prayed for healing for his terrible case of excyma which was afflicting him; I showed Giancarlo and Catherine a photo from 7 years ago of them praying over Ethan, and here he was, a boy of 8, standing before them healed in Jesus' name!

Onto to Northern Ireland....we spent time playing sword fights together and praying together on Friday, and our host took us to a great kids' science museum where Ethan got to be a 'kid' for several hours in science experiments! Thank you LORD for blessing him. Then Friday night was an incredible service; over 100 youth, aged 12-19, and youth leaders, gathered in a coffee shop which is a converted youth center and I ministered for 2 hours in the Glory of the LORD. His presence filled the room; all were silent as I preached the word of God in His power and encouraged them...these young precious teens are the neXt Generation (X Generation) whom I write about in my book Changing of the Guard who will take the land back for God. I shared how in Luke 3 and 4, Jesus was baptized, and a voice came out of heaven accompanying the Holy Spirit saying, 'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.' I told them, "the most amazing thing is that Jesus was affirmed in LOVE by the Father BEFORE He had even done any ministry....so our IDENTITY comes first. I proclaimed in the Spirit over them, 'young men, you are SONS of GOD and He is well-pleased with you...young women, you are DAUGHTERS of God and He is well-pleased with you."

Next we went into a time of worship, and I shared that I was going to pray over them and the Holy Spirit was going to come in power to touch them...I just said, 'receive a touch of love and power from your Father through His Spirit..let Him pour over you.' As I stood on the platform, suddenly the LORD came in like a mighty wind; I began to pray over the kids, and had some members of leadership join me and go all over the room; I instructed them to not lay hands, but instead, just pray over folk and let the LORD do all the touching. I watched kids get touched in power...many 'rested in the spirit' and began to shake on the floor; many young girls began to weep as God touched them, feeling His presence in Glory for the first time in their lives; young men began to weep and others began to be touched in joy; I actually felt at one point as I had to step in-between the bodies on the floor like I was surfing! It was awesome...what a display of God's power...wave upon wave of the Holy Spirit touched them and this lasted for over an hour. Then we had testimoy time. One young man came up and shared how as he was lying on the floor under God's anointing that Jesus came next to him, appearing to him, and taking him out to a green field; he then showed him a vision for his whole life! Young women came up who shared that they were touched for the first time ever and it was a life-changing moment in their walk with God.

Soli Deo Gloria.

Saturday I had the privelege to ministering to the youth leaders who are leading these young folk. Not being fully prepared, I launched into some scriptures and encouraged them for over an hour about how to keep this revival going. You see, on the previous generation, the LORD spoke through many and people received through many leaders through just the preaching and teaching of the Word. Young people put great value on the spoken word. Yet now, in this current generation, to really reach folks in a culture of religous ways like this one in Belfast, we need as leaders to change our plan of attack; the reason is, young people value RELATIONSHIPS and are hungry for the supernatural BEFORE they will listen to what you have to teach them from the Word; so we need to be willing in certain places to believe for a touch of God's Glory first...it opens them up, and prepares them for real discipleship where the word can be taught, listed to intently, and understood to bring transformation. This is what I see the Father doing, so as Jesus said, I go forth to these nations to do only what I see the Father doing!

Last night we headed north out of Belfast to the mid-Ulster area of the North. I stayed at the home of some longtime friends, those whom I had ministered to and seen God work powerfully in for some years ago. They live on a large country estate. We had joked last visit about them preparing an old wooden shack out aways from the house and prepare it as a place of prayer and call it, 'Carl's Place'...in fact they hand-wrote a sign and painted 'Carl's place' upon it last February as a joke! But last night was no joke. I went for a prayer walk alone with God, just fellowshipping with my Father and thanking Him for the incredible displays of His Glory He was sending. I spent some time in the dark singing praises to God next to a river; then I walked back toward the house, and suddenly I felt the Spirit prompt me to walk over the to old wooden shack 'Carl's Place'....the door was cracked open, there was a light on; I slowly walked in...there was a new fireplace with a lovely warm fire, an easy chair sitting facing the fire on a throw-rug; and on a CD player was a soft worship music CD playing over and over. THIS WAS INCREDIBLE. I switched off the light; shut the door, sat down by the fire, and listened overhead to the strong winds blowing in the trees; I began to just sit in the dark silence and worship my King. This moment is too precious to write about so I'll leave you there...

This morning, Sunday, Ethan and I were privileged to be invited to minister at a small fellowship in the town center of Coleraine, a city in the North. During the worship the LORD spoke several Words of Knowledge to me and I called them out for areas of physical healing...several came forward and during prayer, received their healing from the Healer, Jesus Christ. Then Ethan shared a word of encouragment from Philippians 4...be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and the giving of thanks, rejoice....the people were encouraged at this fine young man speaking a scripture from memory before them...Ethan's first missionary moment! Then I preached a message from Isaiah 40 and Matthew 11, encouraging the saints to be a strong witness to the culture, and declare upon every street corner, 'Behold your God!'

I am now about to enjoy a meal from the pastor, and then Ethan and I continue our jourey to the wild west of Ireland to minister this evening at a home fellowship to those who are hungry and thirsty for a touch from God.

'and they went out, and preached everywhere, the LORD working with them, and confirming the word with signs following'.

Amen. Come LORD Jesus. --Brother Carl Wesley Anderson Jr.

Greetings Prayer Warriors!

Carl the Viking here. That's the name I am called far and wide whenever I minister on these green shores. Since I am of Scandinavian origin, and not here trying to research my Irish roots (like most American visitors), I am widely accepted. Of course as a modern Viking, I come in peace...bringing the peace of the LORD and the reconciliation of the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. And the bonus is, my red hair gets me through security at the airports...hey, Paul said, 'I become all things to all men' so when I am here, I look like the Irish and can minister as a weeeee ginger (that's tranlated as a small red-head).

It is now Sunday, the 18th of February, and I am in-between my 9th and 10th revival services. It's been 10 long days on the road, sleeping in a new bed and a new village every night, and I can say with confidence, I've seen the LORD move in His glory and FOR His glory in every gathering and in every place the sole of my foot has tread. Thanks be to God for His faithfulness and for your prayers and intercession on my behalf.

Since my last report which I wrote in Scotland before making the flight to Belfast, God has been increasing the anointing of the Spirit in each revival service. Tuesday night's meeting north of Belfast was a glorious occasion. At the end the pastor's wife was all enthusiastic and full of new expectation. She remarked as I left, 'Well done! You're coming here is like the explosion of a giant firework over the entire county! I see in the Spirit the sparks flying and dropping in the darkness over many villages and bringing new fires in homes and territories for Jesus!'

I have been quite busy with many times of coffee and tea and prayers with leaders of various streams here; I've only been getting 6-7 hours of sleep as the Irish tend to stay up late. It is not uncommon here for me to arrive at a new home to stay at 11:30pm and find the husband/wife of the house sitting by the fire and offering me a cup of tea and then fellowshipping in the LORD until 12:30 or 1am before retiring for the evening. One quite lovely humorous story here; I was invited by a young man whom I have been mentoring for the past three years and who has been one impact from my yearly ministry here; I visited his parents' home; it is a massive country mansion estate sitting on 12 acres with a trout stream and full, mature trees full of birds of many species on the grounds; this couple is sold-out for God and has opened their home for powerful home-meetings (you can fit 30-40 people comfortably in one of their two living rooms) and as a retreat house for visiting ministers; I remarked on Thursday night to John, the owner, that perhaps God would speak to him about bequeathing me a wee prayer shack in their woods to me and my ministry in his will! I said, you can give the main house to your kids, but just leave me a small patch to come and pray in! So last night I arrived back for one more night's stay and we drove in at about midnight; suddenly my driver, the youth and son of the house who I have been working with, slowed down in the dark and his headlights shown on a signpost recently erected in the yard, pointing with an arrow down a path where they have a small summer home that is currently over-run with moss but will someday be turned into a prayer center; and in black letter, hand drawn on the white pointed sign, were the engraved words, 'CARL'S PLACE' ! I went in, of course finding John and his wife Isabele still up and sitting by their coal fire, and we all had a laugh about it.

The Spirit of the LORD has been moving mightily in power over all. I spent Fri eve, Sat am, Sat aft and Sat eve pouring out my heart in preaching and activating the prophetic and releasing the anointing over 150 youth from all over Ulster, at a special event. Every meeting the LORD was there, building anticipation. Last night was the culmination service, and I stood weeping before this Rising Generation with stories of how God used youth and young people in both the awesome revival of 1859 and later in 1932, transforming the entire culture, and turning Belfast, believe it or not, into what became known in those days as, 'THE CITY OF GOD'. That's right, the city of God; a place where bars were closed and in fact the police, who before the revival were constantly employed in inprisoning folk, had to just turn up to all the church meetings, since the jails were completely empty in those days, and they had no where else to work but crowd control for the revival services! I shared in tears of how the whole thing began with four young men praying in a town called Kells just west of Belfast, and soon it spread like wildfire all over the province. I said quite sponaneously, can God do it again, through YOU? And suddenly the youth cried out YES and shouted and gave their hearts in consecration to God. Then I called up the youth leaders, about 15 in number and anointed all their hands to go forth and pray over the 150 some youth and release the power of God; and then I watched and had the privilege of participating in seeing the glory of God fall upon the crowd. My only guideline for the prayer teams was that they would not physically touch any of the ones they were praying for; in fact it was purely God who did the touching. Over the next 30 minutes, it looked like a 50 calibre machine gun had gunned down the crowd; bodies were lying out in the power of God all over the floor; God touched deeply girls hearts and many wept, or broke out in laughter, profusely; young men shook and trembled by the power over their lives; God's love poured over many and over half the crowd had never in their young lives been touched like this; laughter broke out in some, and from the back of the room a young woman broke out in shouts of deliverance; a young man came up to the mic and testified (he was about 14) that he saw in the Spirit waves upon waves from the ocean of God's water breaking over the people. At the end, many came up and hugged me so tightly (I weep now as I write this bit) and witnessed that the weekend had absolutely transformed their lives for God; I hugged back and wept this morning in prayer as I remembered that moment last night; it is almost too precious to report. God be praised as I walk forward into this calling and direction He has given; in giving young people a new identity as WARRIORS for Jesus, and seeing the LORD confirm His word with signs following.

Gotta run now; about to go and preach at my 10th revival service, and then off to the pub for a Guinness before a short night of sleep and a long day of travel tomorrow; pray for me and the whole family on Monday; I depart Belfast at 8am and arrive in Minneapolis at 3pm. Somehow on this journey I managed to squeeze in producing four seperate professional video segments to incorporate into our new DVD series A Voice of One Calling; one in Ulverston on George Fox, the leader of the Quaking Saints of the 1600's, one in Edinburgh Scotland on St. Cuthbert of the 600's, one on St. Patrick from the 400's, and one on J. Edwin Orr from 1932 in Belfast!

Remember to continue to keep us lifted in prayer so that the Spirit can help us fend off any attacks of the enemy, since Born to Blaze gave him a couple of strong blows on its' unique mission to the Irish.

To quote from George Fox's journal, truely on this whole journey, 'The Power of the LORD was over ALL...'

Hi again honey (and all the intercessors who are not my honey but are
sweet anyway),

I'm alive and well in Scotland. It is Monday at about 1pm and in a few
minutes I am off to the city of Glasgow, where God has networked me with
two new leadership contacts there. Both are leaders in a new youth
movement called Firestarters; click this link to have a look:
www.firestartersuk.org

God has been good to me on this visit. On Saturday night in Ulverston at
the revival service I preached a strong message and then we went into
worship and the fire fell. People were healed of various conditions or
received partial 'doses' of healing, and I said, 'come, holy spirit' and
come He did. To quote George Fox of the Quaking saints movement of the
1600's right there in Ulverston where he had his ministry base of the
North, 'The power of the LORD was over all'. People were lying out in
the Spirit and shaking, laughing (release of joy to the downcast),
weeping, and experiencing significant touches from God.

Then after only about 5 hours of rest, I was up early with a coffee and
an adventure: driving in my rental sporty car, with worship music
blasting, from Ulverston, straight through the incredibly beautiful
lands of the Northumbria area, the Borders of Scotland where Hadrian's
Wall still stands, and then up through the snow-capped mountains,
streams and lush valleys of Scotland into Edinburgh, where I was
scheduled to preach at 11a.m. My satallite navigaion woman (whom I've
now come to call the Voice of the Spirit, because she acts just like the
leading of the Spirit; if you're on the right road, you hear
nothing...all is well in God...she only pipes up when you need to be
aware of a turn in the road...just like God...and then she never tells
you 'Why' she is making you turn...often like God...she just asks for
unconditional surrender to the ways of the Satallite gods!) Anyway, she
got me to the church on time...I pulled up at 10:53 with a full 7minutes
to spare! The meeting went well and God's Spirit was again over all.

I spent yesterday in fellowship with the pastor and also a great couple
who hosted me overnight and talking of the deeper things of God and His
vision and plan to move in future revival here in Scotland. I am stirred
in my heart to pray for these people and this ancient land, still full
of potential to be a place of rich spiritual inheritance. I collapsed in
bed completely exhausted last night and awoke this morning refreshed
after 9 or 10 hours sleep. Thank you LORD.

I have also videotaped two significant short-films for our new video
series, A Voice of One Calling; one on George Fox in Ulverston and one
at the base of the huge Edinburgh Castle on celtic missionary St
Cuthbert, who started a ministry base there, and there has been
continuous Christian worship on that site for 14 centuries!

My mobile phone should be up and running later this afternoon; the
number from the States is: (44) 7810-844-052

Keep up the prayers; I'm heading to Northern Ireland tomorrow and my
schedule will be very intense, and I'll need to be listening to God on a
new level to work in union with His Spirit for breakthrough among the
people.

All glory and honor to Jesus, Soli Deo Gloria, --brother carl

Hi honey (and/or any intercessors who may read this and not be
'honey'!), I'm alive and well here in England! Writing to you from cold
north; planning to warm it up a bit tonight at the revival service.
Anyway, my adventure so far....I managed to get four hours of sleep on
the flight over which was an answer to prayer straight off! I grabbed
the four middle row seats which were open, just next to my seat, and
spread out and went to bed! Arrived at the proper time of 9am, three
cheers for British efficiency. I then stumbled blindly forward through
customs (got all the Seed books through no problem) and went to rent a
car. For 60 pounds a day, about 300 pounds for the five days, they gave
me a luxury sporty upgrade car; cute blue thing that is the latest
technology and included; a satalite navagation system! I got in and
programmed my journey, and started driving, and suddenly this woman's
voice appeared in my speakers, telling me exactly where to turn, how
long the next turn was, where to go on the roundabout, etc. She pipes up
through the speakers whenever a turn is necessary, and is so strikingly
accurate it was scary! Another three cheers for british efficiency. One
bit of challenging fun was she 'recalculated' my journey for me half way
through as there was a traffic jam on the freeway ahead, so she took me
INTO Birmingham, a huge overpopulated city, to avoid the motorway jam.
The problem was, she got her wires crossed and at one point I ended up
circling the same two roundabouts and city blocks for 15 minutes! And I
nearly hit two cars in the process and jumped a couple of curbs, driving
on the 'wrong side of the road' and all that. Anway, I got frustrated
with my satalite girl, and grabbed my map and decided on a journey to
head up north to the M6 motorway. As I moved on ahead, suddenly she must
have seen what I was up to and she decided my route was the best new
route and led me up to the motorway!!!! After this it was a huge
challenge to press on and stay awake. I nearly fell asleep at the wheel
twice. Ouch. I slapped my face really hard, opened all the windows, and
cranked up the iPod worship (yes my iPod works brilliantly on the car
radio...thank you Sarah and thank you LORD)! So after many other
adventures on the road, driving through thick snow at one point while
simultaneously worshipping the Lord with the lyrics of a song about the
Lord making the storehouses of snow, I arrived in this wild northwest
town of Ulverston. The locals here say, well, it isn't quite the end of
the earth, but you can see it from here!

I worshipped the Lord for a bit and then went right to work at the
evening service. Preached a good 30 minutes from Philipians 3, an
encouraging word to the saints gathered about pressing on in their faith
keeping their eyes fixed up Christ; then prayed for a few folk,
including a woman who is a worker in evangelism in a church here, and I
got one verse of scripture for her from Isaiah 62; she later said, 'that
exact passage was given to me once before some years ago!' so both she,
and I, were greatly encouraged. I must be hearing from God correctly at
times here.

I'm off now to Swarthmoor Hall, the former ministry base of George Fox
from 1652, and then onto to preach and minister tonight and then after a
short night of sleep, drive with my sporty car up to Edinburgh to preach
at 11am.

Keep praying! I'm praying for you...pass along or try to forward this
message to our intercessory team and let them know the Spirit of the
LORD is over all.

At least I feel at home here; I'm listening to the commands of a female
in my car, telling me constantly where to go and reminding me when I've
got it wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love and hugs, --carl wesley
